Print Only What You Want
Remove white boxes, unwanted colors, shadows, and leftover background areas. A transparent PNG is usually the clearest option for artwork that should not have a background.
DTF artwork guide
Use this guide before uploading artwork for DTF transfers or gang sheets. A clean file, careful review, and correct order path help prevent avoidable print problems.
Before you upload
We inspect the quality of the finished print, but we do not proof, correct, or redesign customer uploaded artwork before production.
Four checks that prevent most problems
The printer reproduces the artwork you provide. A quick review before checkout can prevent backgrounds, spelling errors, poor resolution, and incorrect sizing from reaching the final print.

Look closely at edges, small text, and fine details. If the image looks blurry or jagged on screen, printing it larger will make those problems more visible.
Confirm spelling, punctuation, colors, orientation, size, and the placement of each design before submitting the order.
You are responsible for confirming permission to use copyrighted, trademarked, licensed, or otherwise protected material.
Better files make better prints
Use the highest quality original file you have. Avoid screenshots, downloaded thumbnails, heavily compressed images, and artwork that has already been enlarged several times.
Choose the right order path
Different DTF order paths are available depending on whether you need to arrange a gang sheet, upload a finished sheet, or order individual transfer sizes.
Upload separate designs and arrange them inside the online builder.
Open the builder → UploadUse this when your gang sheet is already arranged at the correct dimensions.
Upload your sheet → OrderChoose individual transfer sizes when you do not need a complete gang sheet.

These answers cover the most common artwork problems.
We do not proof, correct, or review customer uploaded artwork before production. Your file is printed as submitted. We inspect the quality of the finished print, but you are responsible for backgrounds, spelling, image quality, sizing, layout, and permission to use the artwork.
You are responsible for checking the final file. If software leaves a background or removes part of the design, the resulting print will reflect the uploaded artwork.
Enlarging a small image does not automatically add real detail. Pixelation, blurry edges, and compression artifacts can become more visible at print size.
A high quality PNG with a transparent background is usually the simplest option for DTF artwork. Use the cleanest original file available.
Artwork help may be available depending on the file and the work required. Contact us before ordering when the design needs editing or recreation.
