Before you upload

1Remove unwanted backgroundsYour file should contain only what you want printed.
2Check spelling and layoutReview every word, size, and design placement.
3Use a clean imageSmall, blurry, or pixelated artwork will not print sharply.
4Confirm permissionMake sure you have the right to use the artwork.
Important artwork responsibility

We inspect the quality of the finished print, but we do not proof, correct, or redesign customer uploaded artwork before production.

Four checks that prevent most problems

Review the File Before You Submit the Order

The printer reproduces the artwork you provide. A quick review before checkout can prevent backgrounds, spelling errors, poor resolution, and incorrect sizing from reaching the final print.

Background

Print Only What You Want

Remove white boxes, unwanted colors, shadows, and leftover background areas. A transparent PNG is usually the clearest option for artwork that should not have a background.

Image quality

Zoom In Before Ordering

Look closely at edges, small text, and fine details. If the image looks blurry or jagged on screen, printing it larger will make those problems more visible.

Spelling and layout

Check Every Detail

Confirm spelling, punctuation, colors, orientation, size, and the placement of each design before submitting the order.

Rights and permissions

Use Artwork You Are Allowed to Print

You are responsible for confirming permission to use copyrighted, trademarked, licensed, or otherwise protected material.

Better files make better prints

Start With the Cleanest Artwork Available

Use the highest quality original file you have. Avoid screenshots, downloaded thumbnails, heavily compressed images, and artwork that has already been enlarged several times.

Best starting pointA clean original file with crisp edges, readable text, and the correct background.
Needs attentionSmall artwork, fuzzy edges, accidental backgrounds, or text that becomes hard to read when enlarged.
Do not assume software fixed itBackground removal tools can miss areas or remove part of the design. Inspect the result before ordering.

File help questions

Before You Upload

These answers cover the most common artwork problems.

Do you check my artwork before printing?

We do not proof, correct, or review customer uploaded artwork before production. Your file is printed as submitted. We inspect the quality of the finished print, but you are responsible for backgrounds, spelling, image quality, sizing, layout, and permission to use the artwork.

What happens if the background removal tool misses something?

You are responsible for checking the final file. If software leaves a background or removes part of the design, the resulting print will reflect the uploaded artwork.

Can a small image be enlarged for printing?

Enlarging a small image does not automatically add real detail. Pixelation, blurry edges, and compression artifacts can become more visible at print size.

What file is best for transparent artwork?

A high quality PNG with a transparent background is usually the simplest option for DTF artwork. Use the cleanest original file available.

Can you help repair or recreate artwork?

Artwork help may be available depending on the file and the work required. Contact us before ordering when the design needs editing or recreation.
